Art enriches human life. It is more than beauty; like philosophy and ethics, it nurtures the heart and is entrusted to future generations.
Throughout life, individuals transmit to their families and successors the convictions forged by experience. Though the body ages and passes, such teachings endure across time and guide the young. Just as wisdom handed down through the ages continues to shape us, so too is art ageless.
The value created by the truly gifted—Picasso’s works, for example—continues to shine over time.
Even should an era arrive in which AI undertakes much of what we call creative work, it cannot attain the depth of works born of the human soul and talent. To bequeath philosophy, morality, and beauty to the next generation is, in itself, human progress.
